무아지경  無我之境

몇 년 전 어느 별이 빛나는 밤,
나는 우뚝 솟은 요세미티 화강암 절벽 가장자리에 있었고,
북부 캘리포니아 소나무에 등을 기대고 있다
아! 시원하고 상쾌한 바람
호흡할 때마다 놀라운 해방감이다
호박색 눈을 가진 새가 내 옆에 앉아 있었고
영혼과 또한 영혼이 별빛과 함께
광활한 밤하늘이 머리 위에서 춤을 춘다

나무 사이로 은빛 손가락에 와닿는 달빛
누군가의 얼굴이 마치 그림처럼 떠오른다
완벽한 그림, 지금도 생생다

바람의 숨 쉬는 소리를 듣는다
그것은 마치 매혹적인 파도처럼 느껴진다
계곡을 가로질러 유유히 흐른다
나는 평화를 호흡하고 있다
이 순간이 영원하기만을 

Yosemite Rapture

One starry night, years ago,
I was near the edge of a towering Yosemite granite cliff,
sitting with my back resting against a Northern California pine.

The summer air was cool and crisp,
Each breath came as a liberating surprise.
A bird with amber eyes sat beside me,

Soul to soul.
The vast night sky
danced over my head
With the firelight of stars afar

The Moon reached its silver fingers through the trees
Construct someone's face like a painting;
Picture perfect.
If my eyes come to a close,
I see it vividly still.

listened to the wind breathe,
And felt it’s entrancing waves
Traversing their way through the valley below.

I was completely at peace.
I wish this moment to last forever
